Eggs for Gammer Tunnelly

Bestowal dialogue

'My thanks again for taking that last batch of eggs to Holly in Hobbiton, but I've got another cook waiting on some eggs, if you've got the time to deliver them!
'Gammer Tunnelly in Tuckborough is a fine lady...misses her grandson terribly though. If you could deliver the basket of eggs right there to her, I'd really appreciate it!
'Remember, don't let the rooster see you. I can't have the hens all upset by him and not laying!'

Background

Due to his bad leg, Farmer Sandson cannot deliver the eggs Gammer Tunnelly in Tuckborough is waiting for.

Objective 1

Gammer Tunnelly can be found in the centre of Tuckborough.
When you returned from delivering the eggs to Holly Hornblower, he asked you to make another delivery to Gammer Tunnelly in Tuckborough. Be careful that the rooster doesn't see you with the eggs, as he will let out a call that will upset the hens.
Farmer Sandson: 'Go ahead and grab that basket of eggs there. There should be enough in there for Gammer Tunnelly.'
Gammer Tunnelly says, "Oh thank you so much, I needed those eggs!"

Objective 2

Gammer Tunnelly was grateful for the eggs. You should return to Farmer Sandson and let him know the eggs were delivered without incident.
Gammer Tunnelly: 'Oh, thank you again from bringing me those eggs. Please give my thanks to Farmer Sandson and let him know I hope his leg heals soon!'
Farmer Sandson: 'Gammer Tunnelly is such a sweet, old hobbit. I'm glad she got the eggs. You have my thanks again, <name>. When my leg gets better, maybe I can do a favour for you, eh?'

Eggs for Holly Hornblower

Bestowal dialogue

'My thanks again for gathering the eggs, but I need to ask another favour, if you can spare me the time.
'One of the cooks waiting on these eggs is Holly Hornblower, and I'd hate to disappoint her...she makes the most wonderful pies. I've put some of the eggs in the basket next to me, so if you could take the basket up to Holly, I'd appreciate it.
'Holly lives up the road to the east in Hobbiton, behind The Ivy Bush. Please be quick about delivering them, if you would. And again, be careful that the rooster don't see you with 'em. He'll let out a call that'll upset the whole flock if he catches sight of you!'

Background

Due to his bad leg, Farmer Sandson cannot deliver the eggs Holly Hornblower in Hobbiton is waiting for.

Objective 1

Holly Hornblower's house is in Hobbiton, behind The Ivy Bush.
Pick up the egg basket and carry it to Holly Hornblower in Hobbiton. Be careful that the rooster doesn't see you with the eggs, as he will let out a call that will upset the hens.
Farmer Sandson: 'Them eggs for Holly are right there in that basket. Take it to her in Hobbiton, if you would. She lives just behind The Ivy Bush.
'I need to ask you to be quick though, as Holly is waiting on them eggs for her pies. And be careful that the rooster don't see you. If he catches sight of you, he'll call ot and pset the hens!'
Holly Hornblower says, "Oh good, the eggs from Farmer Sandson!"

Objective 2

Farmer Sandson is at his farm, west of Waymeet.
Holly Hornblower was grateful for the eggs. You should return to Farmer Sandson and let him know the eggs were delivered without incident.
Holly Hornblower: 'Thanks again for those eggs. I just used my last one in my latest batch of pie crust. Not sure what I would have done if ye hadn't come by!
'And please thank Farmer Sandson for the eggs. His chickens produce some of the largest and best eggs in all the Shire! His farm is west of Waymeet.'
Farmer Sandson: 'Ah, good! I'm glad old Holly got her eggs. Now she can be making those pies everyone loves.
'You have my thanks, <name>, but I wonder if you'd be up for one last delivery?'

Making the Rounds

Bestowal dialogue

'Good day to you, young fellow. Seems I'm in a spot of trouble, and I wonder if you could help me?
'You see, I've got a couple of cooks who're waiting on eggs from my chickens, but the problem is I've gone and hurt my leg. It's nothing serious, but I can't get out there and gather the eggs them cooks need. Now I don't want to disappoint them, so I was wondering if you could make the rounds and check the nests for eggs?
'The nests are just out in the yard. Four or so eggs should be enough. A bit of warning though, don't let the rooster see you gathering eggs. If he does, he'll let out a call that'll get all the hens upset, and worse -- you're sure to be so surprised that you'll drop the eggs you collected!'

Background

Farmer Sandson has hurt his leg and cannot tend to his chickens or their nests.

Objective 1

  • Collect eggs (0/4)
  • Avoid the rooster
The chicken nests are around Farmer Sandson's yard.
Farmer Sandson has asked you to gather some eggs from his chicken nests, but warned you to stay away from the rooster. If he sees you while you are gathering the eggs, they will call out and upset the other chickens. Furthermore, you are sure to drop the eggs you've collected!
Farmer Sandson: 'Just go on out there and search the nests for eggs. Shouldn't be too hard to find enough of them.
'Remember, don't let the rooster see you, or he'll get the whole flock upset and the hens won't be laying for days! Worse still, he crows so suddenly that it can startle someone something fierce -- you might drop the eggs!'

Objective 2

Farmer Sandson is at his farm, west of Waymeet.
You managed to gather enough eggs without being noticed by the rooster. You should take them back to Farmer Sandson.
Farmer Sandson: 'Good, you've found the eggs!
'Now, if you are still able to help, I've more work for you. With my leg ailing me, I couldn't possibly deliver them!'
